It is recommended to contact the Consular Section with an adequate advance.<\/p>\n<p>An incomplete application may be rejected or entail longer processing time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The applicant must appear <strong>in person <\/strong>at the appointment, with <strong>all the required documents<\/strong> in <strong>original<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><u>Documents to submit the day of the appointment<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid passport. Note that the passport must be valid for at least three months after the Visa expiration date, and must have at least two blank pages. The passport will be stored at this Embassy and given back together with the visa, if approved;<\/li>\n<li>Valid Finnish residence permit;<\/li>\n<li>Duly completed<a href=\"https:\/\/ambhelsinki.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Visa-for-ITALY_APPLICATION-FORM.pdf\"> application form<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Proof of accommodation in Italy: booking confirmation, rental contract,<a href=\"https:\/\/ambhelsinki.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Letter-of-accommodation.pdf\"> letter of accommodation<\/a> (along with the host\u2019s ID);<\/li>\n<li>One way ticket reservation to Italy;<\/li>\n<li>Passport-style photo: white background, not older than 6 months;<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance policy: please note that the destination must be ITALY, and the insurance coverage must be reported in detail;<\/li>\n<li>Payment receipt of \u20ac116,00. The declaration must be issued by the person in charge of the Religious Order to which the applicants belongs, with an authenticated signature by the Episcopal Curia (<em>Curia vescovile<\/em>), or equivalent ecclesiastical authority, or from Apostolic Nunciature (<em>Nunziatura apostolica<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li>Proof economic means of support, in relation to the period of stay, higher than the level provided in the \u201cTable A\u201d of the Directive of the Ministry of the Interior of 01.03.2000. If the expenses are covered by the Religious Institution, please submit a specific declaration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Consular Section has full authority to evaluate the request and can ask for <u>further documentation and\/or a personal interview<\/u>, if deemed necessary, in addition of the documentation that has already been submitted.<\/p>\n<p>Submitting the required documents does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.<\/p>\n<p>The information outlined above may be subject to change without prior notice.
