Fabbrica del Nulla Ensemble
Stefano Agostini ( Flutes), Carlo Failli (Clarinets), Luca Guidi (Guitars), Massimo Buffetti (Piano and Composition)
Music had been often used in an unscrupulous way during Shoah period, among extermination camps. Sometimes persecutors used music in a forcedly subjugated way in order to mask forthcoming horrible events. In the meanwhile, among prisoners, music represented sometimes an important way to find comfort as well. They sang, in certain cases creating texts just during prison period.
In the first part of the concert, dedicated to Memory Theme, several links to Jewish melodies will be interpreted by musicians of the ensemble spaced out by original compositions. Some video excerpts coming from a Tadeusz Wudzki work turned in Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp will be projected.
In the second part of the concert works from the new album ‘Ricercare’ proposed by ‘Fabbrica del nulla Project’ musicians will be played, as world premiere. Some of these compositions will be performed on expressly created videos excerpts.
The concert programme is available here.
